Certified EOS Implementer

As a Certified EOS Implementer (business execution coach) I collaborate with PBOLTS (private business owners and their leadership teams) teaching them “how to fish” so that they get more of what they want from their business.

Teaching them “how to fish” means helping them implement the EOS business management system, which enables them to harness all the moving parts of their business and focus all their energy and resources in one meaningful direction. EOS makes PBOLTS better at execution!

I love being an EOS Implementer. It combines my personal passion for teaching, facilitating, & coaching with my 30+ year business career, including 10 years as a Vice President at Sun Microsystems as well as being the President of two small, public businesses. I have walked in your shoes.  See my LinkedIn profile for more details of my career.

Companies implementing EOS come from any industry and typically have $2 to $50 million in annual revenue, employing between 10 to 250 employees. Some smaller, some larger. If you have people, EOS can help. What you do is immaterial. You are the experts in your business, not me.

I work primarily in the Northern VA, Washington DC to Greater New York City corridor with my home base in Greater Philadelphia. I have clients in New England as well – Greater Boston and southwestern MA.

I have a diverse set of EOS clients, including a physical therapy company, a specialty chemicals company, a financial services company, a software company, an engineering product and services company, a capital goods sales/distribution company and a piping contractor, to name a few.

There is a video by Gino Wickman, founder of EOS Worldwide, on the top page of my blog, which explains how EOS works. After viewing it, if you are interested in learning more I would be pleased to give you 90 minutes of my time explaining EOS and how we might work together.

Here is what some of my clients say about our collaboration:

“I want to change the world and be the best leader I can be. I want to create a dynamic company and work in service of my vision. Ed Callahan is helping me accomplish my dreams.

Ed helps you help yourself. Ed is a masterful and exciting execution coach; he has helped my business tremendously. We have gone from spinning our wheels to actually moving forward. Through working with Ed and implementing EOS I am starting to actualize and realize my personal goals and dreams and those of my company. Ed has helped to make us a different company- a better company, a focused company, a smarter company.

If you are serious about growing your business and being your best self Ed Callahan can help.”

“Ed has helped us learn and implement EOS, a single operating system, for our 35 year old, 40 person professional services firm.  The results are impressive; using one system allows us to spread it and teach it to all our employees over time and it continues to gain traction.  One systems keeps it simple and efficient.  Ed’s energy and passion make it fun!

I am also a Vistage member and find EOS to be extremely complimentary with Vistage’s focus on best practices within every area of a company and it’s leaders.  We gain value from both of these investments and I would encourage others to explore working with Ed and evaluating the power of adopting EOS as their one operating system.”

Lori Gordon
CEO
MandMarblestone, LLC

“We hired Ed as an EOS Implementer to guide us through an initial strategic planning process as well as follow through. Through the EOS Process, significant differences in our managment team surfaced that needed to be dealt with. Ed, through the EOS Process, forced us to deal with the issues and we are a much better company for it.”

Tracy Jarman
CEO
Aquatrols, Inc.

“Ed and the Enterpreneurial Operating System (EOS) has allowed DVL to grow our company in a very difficult economy. He showed us how to implement a great management program that keeps our entire company focused on our goals and helps us accomplish them. I would recommend Ed to any company. He will make you a better team.”

Mike Beck
CEO
DVL, Inc.

“Approximately two years ago I realized to grow my business I needed to work on our company’s infrastructure because I literally had no more time or energy. I started networking to find solutions and ran across Ed and EOS. After speaking with Ed and reading TRACTION I quickly understood EOS could add a pivotal piece to my company’s infrastructure, and could give me precious time back to enjoy my family & life.

I consciously held our company back from growing for the past three years. After almost two years operating Rehab1 under the principles of EOS I now understand what Gino Wickman and Ed Callahan both state: ‘Be careful what you wish for, because EOS can get you there.’ I fully agree with this statement and look forward to the future growth of our company. With the necessary systems and processes in place we are now ready to grow once again. Now our future growth will be manageable, reproducible, and I’ll consistently have a pulse on all aspects of my business.”

Owner/President

“Ed has done a terrific job working with our team to implement the EOS process.  We are a high growth enterprise software company increasing our headcount by 5 times over the past several years.  With all this growth we were looking for a management system that would give our team a single language and would be indicative of the entrepreneurial spirit of the company.

EOS has been that system for us and has met and exceeded our expectations helping our team stay focused on solving the most pressing issues that enable us to continue to execute on our plans.  Ed has been very effective in helping our team understand the process and how they can roll this out to the rest of our organization.”

Ned Moore
Chairman, CEO, Founder
Portico Systems, Inc.

“As a business coach, Ed helped Portico implement best practices around running it’s business more effectively using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (“EOS”). The EOS process excels as an execution focused business management system. Ed is an excellent facilitator and guided our management team as we introduced the EOS concepts into our organization. I would highly recommend Ed’s services for any growth company that is searching for an effective process that is easily understood and embraced by all levels of employees.”

Mark Pollock
CFO
Portico Systems, Inc.

“Over the years DVL has become very skilled in many core business competencies, including Sales Management, Accounting, Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology. However, it became clear to me we needed a better way to get our management team on the same page with regard to strategic planning so as to continue to move the company forward.

At that time Ed presented the EOS program to our team, and the team agreed to enter into the program by a narrow margin. One and one half years into the process, everyone on our team would testify to its success. We are all in synch with each other, as is the rest of the company.

Ed and EOS have made a tremendous difference in both the present and future of DVL. I would highly recommend anyone with the same concerns meet with Ed to learn more about both he and the EOS program.”

Michael Murphy
Chairman
DVL, Inc.

“I can’t express how valuable the EOS Program has been to Lippolis Electric, Inc. The EOS philosophy and methods have made a big difference in how we do business and even in how I conduct myself overall.

Everything from Rocks to developing our Core Values has been an eye opener for me. Everything that we have implemented has made a difference and I’m very proud of that. It is because of Ed and EOS that we were able to solve some of our issues forever.”

Owner

The G in GWC

In EOS terminology, GWC stands for Gets It, Wants It, and has the Capacity to do the job. Besides sharing your values, each employee should be perfect for the position, or seat, being filled.… Read More
