All four of my grandparents were entrepreneurs. My dad was an entrepreneur and my mom was a schoolteacher. By the time I was 10-years old, I knew that I wanted to ‘buy and sell companies’ when I grew up. For the past 20 years, I have been helping entrepreneurs buy, build and sell businesses. I have worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs to complete transactions worth billions of dollars.
Throughout my investment banking career, I often felt conflicted and frustrated. Coming from an entrepreneurial family, I wanted to help owners grow their business organically and through acquisitions. My employers just wanted to sell companies. I always believed there was a need for a better advisory service firm for small and medium sized companies.
In 2018, I went “all in” on this belief and started my own advisory service practice focused on helping business owners in the lower middle market. Over the past 6 years, I have come to utilize a proven process to help owners increase the value of their business, reduce their risk, and be prepared for opportunities as they arise. Teaching the Entrepreneurial Operating System to leadership teams is the most important part of this process.
