Then why me? I have been there. I started my first business at 21. After a successful exit and once around the globe, I entered the corporate technology sector working with entrepreneurs like Mark Cuban, when we bought Mark’s first business. I shifted from the tech sector to healthcare when a friend asked me to join the senior leaders of his drug benefit management company. We were awarded INC #9 in 2007 and INC #1 in 2008.
It’s not about the awards. We succeeded as the INC #1 because we built a great team that beat the big boys during the biggest change to the healthcare industry in 50 years. We did it by building powerful industry partnerships and by having the vision, system, and strategy to achieve our goals.
