I held the Stanley Cup above my head for 6 seconds! I had the privilege of playing on one of the best teams in sports history. The 2007 Anaheim Ducks were ranked one of the all-time best teams in the history of the NHL.
Ironically, my first team outside of hockey was not a winning team…we had high staff turnover, a dysfunctional culture & declining revenue. That’s when I was introduced to EOS.
I learned the hockey arena & the business arena are closely related. You need discipline, accountability & focus if you are going to win. And EOS is a tool, just like a hockey stick. It’s not effective without a strong team using it & without the right coach to push you to be your best. As a coach, I expect my clients to do what they say and follow through because if we are going to play on the same team, we are going to play to win!
