I started my first business right after 9/11. My wife was pregnant with our 3rd child and the economy was dwelling in the aftermath of the dot.com bubble. I quickly learned the entrepreneur’s life is exciting – wins, losses, growth spurts, and plenty of bumps along the way (’08 financial crisis?). To say nothing of the constant pressure and lack of sleep.
During that 12-year run and subsequent period working for entrepreneurial software companies, I realized leadership teams were often most challenged by the simple evolution of their businesses. Bad processes, people that only “kind of” fit the company or job, misaligned priorities, and unresolved issues that resurfaced over and over again crept in and drove owners and leadership teams to 80-hour weeks and stress-filled lives. It pained me to watch this.
So, when two separate friends (EOS clients) raved about how EOS had revolutionized their businesses, it grabbed my attention. I dug in and realized this was a simple, proven system that dovetailed with my skills and experience, and would enable me to help entrepreneurs get what they truly wanted from their businesses and lead more fulfilling lives.
