I started my entrepreneurial journey at 27, when I launched an Internet design shop in Tokyo.
Like many entrepreneurs, I quickly learned that starting a business is a lot easier than running one. Managing people, chasing cashflow, hunting down new business—it felt like a new challenge hit me every single day.
Then, just two years in, the Internet bubble collapsed. I lost everything. It was a jarring defeat.
That setback pushed me to level up. I went back to the U.S. and earned my MBA from UC Berkeley. When I returned to Japan, I spent the next 15 years as an independent management consultant, working in IT infrastructure, sales, marketing, and software development.
But over time, I started to feel stuck. My consulting work only seemed to scratch a client’s surface issues. I wasn’t helping my clients make real, lasting progress.
That’s when I discovered EOS®
EOS brought together everything I’d learned about running a great business—into one clear, actionable system. I was sold.
In 2018, I became Japan’s first Professional EOS Implementer®.
Today, I live the EOS Life® by coaching entrepreneurial leadership teams throughout Japan and East Asia.
