I have spent the majority of my career managing Finance Departments for small to medium-size companies. About twenty years ago, our management team had the opportunity to purchase a distressed manufacturing company in conjunction with an private equity purchase. We helped turn the company around and purchased it outright about six years later. Initially, sales were $6 million with about 75 employees. When we sold in 2021, sales totaled $30 million with roughly 200 employees. The growth to get there ran the gamut of several peaks and valleys including hitting the ceiling as a management team in 2017. We were introduced to EOS through our accounting firm, BMSS and everything changed. We implemented EOS, focused on the process of strengthening the six components of our business and became a much better company. We were more intentional in leading our teams by coaching and helping them grow into the roles we needed them to own and that helped the entire company break through the ceiling of growth we had hit. This process also ignited a passion in me to help other companies learn this process and benefit from the lessons we learned along the way.
