January 26, 2021 – Livonia, MI – EOS® Worldwide and the Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC) have signed a partnership agreement to assist minority business enterprises in strengthening their leadership teams and growing their businesses using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
“We are thrilled to partner with FSMSDC in helping minority-owned and -run businesses reach their potential at a time when it’s more important than ever for minority businesses to succeed,” said Kelly Knight, president and integrator of EOS Worldwide. “EOS will provide FSMSDC with free Traction books, free downloadable EOS tools and access to our 400+ Professional EOS Implementers® around the world. With more than 100,000 businesses using EOS tools, we are confident that EOS can support minority entrepreneurs on their journey to getting more of what they want from their businesses.”
The FSMSDC’s main function is to register and certify minority-owned businesses. The process ensures that these businesses are 51% minority-owned and operated in accordance with the guidelines set by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
Currently, FSMSDC has approximately 900 certified MBEs (Minority Business Enterprises) employing close to 50,000 people with a combined sales of $12.6 billion. MBEs are companies owned by United States citizens who are Asian, Black, Hispanic or Native American.
“This is a great opportunity – in a very dynamic climate – to further foster the development of minority-owned businesses and help embolden minority entrepreneurs on their business journey,” said FSMSDC’s Beatrice Louissaint, president and CEO. “Our partnership with EOS is designed to support entrepreneurs in breaking through ceilings and scaling their companies in 2021 and beyond.”
FSMSDC has announced its selection of the book Traction by EOS Worldwide founder Gino Wickman as its “Book of the Year” in 2021. FSMSDC members can refer fellow members for a free copy of the book through a custom “Pay It Forward” EOS book giveaway program at fsmsdc.eosworldwide.com.
