Inna Tuler, founder and CEO of Maintco Corp, reveals her journey as an entrepreneur in the male-dominated construction industry.
Inna’s journey into the construction industry began unexpectedly but purposefully. After her husband passed away, she jumped into his role in an attempt to keep the company afloat. She encountered initial skepticism and dismissive attitudes as she took the helm but refused to be deterred, forging ahead with determination and resilience.
[08:15] “At some point, I decided that I needed to make a change. I need to stop working 20 hours a day. I needed to stop doing everything for everybody. And I needed to build a team.”
She seized opportunities through resilience and strategic business transformation, broadening her company’s service offerings from minimal tasks to comprehensive turnkey operations. With the help of Certified EOS Implementer® Jackie Kibler, Inna was able to simplify complex problems and lead the business toward expansion and success.
[20:23] “When you hire people into the company, and they know there’s a structure, they know they have equal opportunity to be heard.”
Inna’s story serves as an empowering narrative, showcasing the transformative power of determination and adaptability in the face of challenges.
